Epiphany!

It's hard to believe that just one year ago we were glued to the news as a dude who looked like Ted Nugent on Stone Age wildebeest hunting expedition and a gang of ding dongs made an attempt to hijack what is left of our democracy. It's been great to see these individuals get locked up one by one for their crimes. I would love to take our flag back and have it represent all of the wonderful qualities of America again.

Last night we dropped off hot meals at the disaster central command and got to meet one of the K9's on the job named Adler. He was a really sweet pup and could sniff out just about anything. Our chef Brian has been leading the soup kitchen efforts at Moxie using some of the most amazing raw material donated by so many folks in the area to make hot and healthy comfort food. He is amazing at coming up with really delicious and nutritious meals on the fly.

We have a beautiful donation from Prefare Gourmet Meal Kits for you guys today. These are make at home meal kits that require some assembly and something to heat them up. Stop by LSVL today for these. We have about 50 in total.

Our neighbor Leah over at Eyeworks next door let me know that she can help with lost contacts and glasses.

The Spot gym is giving those in need climbing gear as well at all locations.

Kari Tra is going to donate a BOATLOAD of new in package best in class women's active wear. We are coordinating the date for this, it may be Sunday. We are also speaking with other local clothing companies who want to donate including Patagonia and Fjallraven, so if you lost your favorite down puffy...chances are we got a brand new one for you.

Eric from Acme Fine Goods has set up a warehouse of ridiculous high quality brand new gear for men, women and children at 375 McCaslin Blvd unit B (next to Chipotle) and it is open from 10 a- 5 p daily.

We had a write in from a woman who lost her home just south of Harper Lake who wanted to share a resource that Sara Bean Duncan has been building. It is a Google Sheet of direct assistance resources for the victims, and can be accessed at helping.tips. This is an amazing central repository of great info for those needing immediate help.

Last but not least, it is Epiphany today! We have the most delicious King Cakes to sweeten your day. Available at all locations, these traditional French cakes are filled with salted toffee.

Ding dong or not...The Motor City Madman sure can shred.

Stranglehold by The Nuge

And it's a double coupon Thursday folks, since so many of you admitted to having a huge crush on Maya Dorn back in the Pennylane days...here's the song I was actually trying to find yesterday. I think some of you will find this hilarious.
