Since opening two other locations and facing challenges of the pandemic, we had to make a decision to protect our baking team. Now that we have two baking facilities, we have the capability to improve our baking processes. We are ready to go back to how things used to be, and ensure the freshest product possible.

We are very excited to bring pizza nights back to Louisville! Join us every other Friday starting June 9th while we do our darndest to continue this sweet community tradition that Andy created of pizza, music and high spirits!

I'm Kimmerjae Macarus, a sculptor and musician in Lafayette. I got to know Andy, and a good number of you, playing together in those sweet sardine-packed Friday night music jams he hosted in Louisville, back before we had to learn to hug each other with our eyes from 6' away. Moxie met the Covid curveballs with grace & we held our friendships together.

Starting today, you may pre-order our 4-packs of hot cross buns. These delicious rolls are served with a side of our famous cinnamon roll glaze. Orders can be picked up either Sat. 4/8 or Sun. 4/9 during our regular business hours. We will also have our usual lineup of breads, pastries and more, as well as a selection of special offerings for Easter weekend!

Years ago Moxie's King Cakes were a giant version of our popular Kouign Amann. Well, we decided to throwback to the good ol' days of Moxie and bring those babies back! Pastry whipped up an flaky, buttery outer layer filled with an amazing ginger pear frangipane. Each cake is 9" and will be complete with a fava bean and a crown for the occasion.

It's been a cold one but if you hadn't heard or seen for yourselves, Moxie Louisville is open once again for customers! We have plans to create more indoor dining, but for now please come in from the cold, smell the delicious bread and coffee being made and say hi to the team. We are excited to see everyone's faces once again.

A huge Thank You to our Moxie communities in Louisville, Boulder and Lyons. Words cannot express the immense support we feel during this incredibly difficult time. Our community and customers are a huge part of why we are Moxie and we thank you for the love and support we receive in all we do, especially now and as we head into the holiday season.

Happy Halloween! We've got a couple of fun events planned this weekend starting off with a little pre-game hangout this afternoon in Lyons before the legendary Rave To The Grave concert. Swing by the shop today from 3-6pm for some music and shenanigans in the Lyons Moxie Mercantile parking lot.

We wanted to share an amazing community event happening just up the hill in Jamestown this Sunday. Sometimes your biggest dreams come true!

Our creative juices have been flowing as we make our ways through these cooler days towards Autumn. The Moxie flavor makers across the entire shop from the espresso bar to the pastry shop, kitchen and bread team have been playing with some new flavors.

What a welcome relief from the blazing heat we are experiencing this weekend. It looks like we will be below 90 degrees for the next week, and that makes us all very happy in the bakery. Our staff has been working so hard through the heat of the bakery all summer and I am so thankful to give them a break from it.

I hope everyone is settling back into the rhythm of having kids back in school and changing routines as summer starts to cool off and wind down. We hosted an amazing fundraiser last night for The Sloyd Experience with Allison and Luke. Even with fairly persistent rain falling for much of the evening we had a packed patio.

We are gearing up for another fun pizza night this Friday. Come down and hang out in our fabulous back patio in Louisville and enjoy wood fired pizza, and fresh organic greens from Cure Organic Farm. We have GF crusts and vegan options on hand and kids 12 and under eat for free.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. It was great to see so many smiling faces and dancing festivarians at RockyGrass. This year marked the 50th anniversary of the festival and the line up was phenomenal. The campgrounds were rocking until the wee hours all week with inspired musicians from across the land.

I want to appreciate our amazing crew at Moxie Louisville for navigating a challenged power outage yesterday. We apologize for our closure, but are back at it today in full force. We are taking a week off from our pizza night this week but we'll return to our usual antics next Friday.

It's going to be gorgeous tomorrow in Louisville for a night of pizza. We will be slinging oak fired pizzas off our little red Italian pizza oven out in the back patio. We are back at it again with a pizza night this Friday. Wood fired deliciousness made with long fermented heirloom grain sourdough crust. Come enjoy a lovely evening on our back patio with friends. Pizza is served buffet style with fresh local greens from Cure Organic Farm, and a cash bar with local beer and great wine. Limited GF and Vegan options are available. This is gonna be awesome possum for sure.

Today Moxie Lyons turns 1 year old! It has been such a wonderful year becoming part of the amazing community, and growing our team and spreading more funky Moxie love. Thank you all for your support.
