Prefare + Ginger Pig + FED Today

I was talking to my wife last night about the amazing generosity of the Kari Traa team. Her and her ever expanding team of volunteers gave out another 2 truckloads of fine Norwegian active wear on Monday. It is possible that almost everyone in Louisville and Superior will have a Kari Traa jacket or under layer at this point. And by the way, they also raised another $16,000 for the fire victims with the sample sale whilst giving away thousands of free garments to those who lost theirs.

Today we have delicious meals for those in need donated by Prefare and Ginger Pig down in Denver, and FED from Boulder.

Prefare has been dropping off their outstanding meal kits that are meant to be prepared at home with all of the necessary ingredients induced in the kit. We've got about 30 kits available this morning.

Ginger Pig based in Denver is cooking warm meals this afternoon for you, and we'll be handing them out from 4-5 pm. Take them with you and eat them straight away.

FED Food Truck will also be at Moxie LSVL from 3-6 today...so it sounds like dinner is covered y'all! Happy Wednesday.

We are planning another pizza party soon in Lousville...perhaps this weekend if its warm... stay tuned. Rainbow is having a pizza party in Jamestown on Friday with the one and only Big Richard Band, maybe we'll see ewe there?

I was looking through a photo album that my mother made me a while back of a bunch of memories from my childhood in Vermont and Mass. This picture struck me and brought me back to that feeling of being a kid, a little sad and a little confused and angry and not able to hide any of that in the photo. Its tough to be a thinker, and stuck in your head. I think about all of the kids around here that are going to need some help. Whatever we thought was a tough time to grow up through, kids these days have too much to deal with and it is crushing them. It is going to require the whole village to help them find a light in the darkness. Tomorrow Sahra will be set up in our back patio with Love for Lily NICU Moms Group offering support for families in need of a little love and comfort. They will be hosting a family event to give supplies to families where families can pick up items that they needs and also create some things. They make bracelets of love for our NICU families and they serve as worry beads, mantra beads, pray beads, a reminder of the connection and good in this world and the can help to offer a little space to broken hearts. They will also offer art supplies, items that can support the processing of big big grief.

Here's a whole live set from Jason Isbell. This guy lets it all out, and this performance is what I've come to expect from him and his band. Probably the best show I see each year at Red Rocks. We are planning another fundraiser concert with Dazzle and The Muse that will be aired on February 13th. The line up is stellar and we'll be dropping announcements on social daily on who is playing...we are looking for a few sponsors if you know anyone who'd like to support the production costs. Jamestown's own Max Devincenzo (yes...son of Pie Boss Karen Devincenzo) is leading up this charge.
