Bring an instrument!

Speaking of instruments- read this note from Nick about a fun night at E-Town on Monday. I'll be there!

This coming Monday, February 28th, I’m hosting a virtual fundraiser for those who suffered incalculable losses during the devastating Marshall Fire that took place late last year. It’s a big production, and we have a big goal: to try to raise a million dollars!

The lineup is amazing (see below) and it’s an all volunteer effort with all the money going to the Boulder County Wildfire Fund through the Community Foundation of Boulder. Tickets to watch the event are $10 and, of course, tax deductible contributions beyond that are more than welcome.

Musicians have always been ready to lend a hand to raise money and to raise awareness. Fighting for worker’s rights and civil rights, protesting wars, protecting family farms and protecting the environment - there has always been a soundtrack to the great social movements of our time. Chuck Morris, the legendary music promoter here in Colorado, put the whole thing together with his team and with a lot of help from a bunch of us.

For those of you in the neighborhood, we’re having a watch party at eTown Hall on Monday night. Stop by and see the whole thing on a big screen with eTown’s legendary sound system. Tickets for that are $10 per person and all proceeds go to the Boulder County Wildfire Fund through the Community Foundation of Boulder.

If you’ve been directly affected by the Marshall Fire, admission is free to both the watch party and the streamed event. To learn more about that, please visit our event page.

You can check out the show either on the big screen at eTown Hall or at home. Either way, thanks for supporting those affected by this tragic fire, the worst in Colorado’s history.

Best,
Nick
