E-Town Community Cafe Thursday

The word community continues to become more relevant and resonant to me each day. Sort of like the word resilience. I'm not sure I always knew exactly what that word meant until lately. Now I do.

E-Town has always been a community place and Devon Forster is expanding that community through a new series of Community Cafe events starting off with this one on Thursday April 14th. This event will take place in the cafe located beneath the hall in the lower level. Chef Daniel Ascher, Rainbow Burrell and Moxie Bread Co are working together to create a divine spread of nibbles and noshables for your snacking pleasure including River & Woods deviled eggs, Ash'Kara's baba ganoush and hummus and a cheeseboard by Moxie & The Merc. Did I mention bread?

Devon will host a cash bar with a fabulous curated wine list, beer and spirits.

And for the main act....I am incredibly proud to present Emma Rose! Emma's band is called the Sound of Honey, and that name is so very right. I have not heard a sweeter voice nor a more lovely delivery than Emma's. This will be a very special night. She's be playing with her partner Will Kuepper and their drummer Tobias Bank. Emma's other band The Big Richard Band is blowing up including a slot on main stage at Telluride Bluegrass this year, as well as having played Winter WonderGrass alongside Molly Tuttle and Ronnie McCoury.

6:30 doors, 7 pm show. Tickets $25
Purchase your tickets HERE, and fast because there are not many available.

Thank for coming out to our little birthday shin dig in Boulder last Saturday. Boy did we feel the love. Thanks to all of our Moxie alum for helping make pizza together under the sun too. It's a wonderful day to be outside with our customers and staff just spending time together. It is rare, and something I want to intentionally create more of. So much love, so much love.

Check out Emma's new video recorded and produced at Charlie Rose's studio in Lyons.
