Pizza Party Friday in Louisville. There will be two seatings one at 5 and one at 6:30. You are free to hang out after your seating and listen to music and hang, but we ask that you clear the tables to make room for the next seating. Cocktails hand made by the one and only Trace Bundy (cash bar). Live music and buffet style pizza and farm fresh salad.

I was blown away by the poems that flowed into my inbox yesterday. What a treat. It makes me want to start a writing group at Moxie. Anyone up for it? And all the words were purple and they all smelled like memories of our mothers and grandmothers and heavy morning dew and the sound of bending branches and snow melt dripping from petals hitting the moist soil beneath.
The news of another shooting changed everything again. Poetry stopped feeling good. That numb feeling of not knowing how to process it. It seems that our thoughts and prayers are not doing the trick. What do we do now? Surely we must do something? Little kids shooting littler kids?
