Wanna Farm??

We had an epic old fashioned Moxie pizza night of ridiculousness on Friday. Thanks for coming down and enjoying a fine evening of pie, music and silliness with us. Trace & Alek poured some really tremendous libations and we slung some turbo nom nom pie....and then the real magic of pizza night happened when a gaggle of our favorite musicians posted up for a session that lasted until the wee hours of the morning and hit on more than a few 80's hair band tunes from the "W"  legacy (Winger, Warrant & Whitesnake). We'll be dropping in more pizza nights soon, so stay tuned. Favorite pizza? Anne Cure's strong -n- spicy organic arugula layered with mozzarella, garlic scapes and basil oil. Holy Smokes Folx.

So you wanna be a farmer, eh? Well, this here could be your big break. Rich Pecoraro & Masa Seed Foundation is calling your name. There is not a better farmer out there, let alone seedsman. Ask your local farmer where they go for seed and wisdom and I'll bet my bottom dollar they say Rich.

Rich put in some additional acreage that needs to get planted ASAP and is looking for a gaggle of farm hands to help get the job done. $25 an hour. Learn how to plant, cultivate and harvest the field with Masa. They are building a bioregional seed bank of locally adapted diverse flowers, vegetables and herbs. Enjoy the diversity of the farm in this beautiful time of year.

The Old 97's are one of the best bands out there, and Rhett writes some of the most beautiful songs, and performs them so well.

A friend sent me this newer Colin Hay song. his voice has always been so soothing. I remember watching him on MTV in middle school thinking Men At Work were the coolest band in the world....until I heard Van Halen that is.
