Mucho Pride Y Musica

Happy first day of Pride Month! We support our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer community! Come out today and celebrate Pride Month with an amazing musical performance by some of the finest musicians I know.

Tenor Miguel Ángel Ortega Bañales, pianist Tamara Goldstein, violinist Enion Pelta-Tiller, & cellist Josh Halpern will be performing traditional Scottish songs through the lens of Robert Mackintosh, Joseph Haydn, and Ludwig van Beethoven in Louisville from noon to 1:30 pm today for FREE!

Josh has been sharing his love through Cultural Caravan throughout the state and this is kick off event for the season. We are also hosting another performance next Tuesday at the Fire Station on Main Street in LSVL with light snacks provided by our pals at LuLu's and Picas. Josh lost his family home in Superior to the Marshall Fire and the Tuesday concert at the Fire Station is meant to hold some musical community space for healing. I am attaching a musical fundraiser that we helped put together where Josh plays his cello in the place where his home used to be days after the fire. Josh's performance starts around the 6 minute mark.

Come out to the Boulder Bandshell tomorrow for the second day of the concert series for the amazing Zivanai Masango at 5:30 pm.

Here's the fundraiser concert that Max DeVincenzo and friends put together at The Muse in Lafayette. TONS of great musicians throughout this performance. Watch the whole thing!!!
