The Birth of New Creatures

We hope to see some of you tonight at E-Town! I'm pretty pumped to hang out with the chef supergroup that is Daniel Ascher, Jen Bush and Rainbow Shultz. Honestly these guys make the food that soothes my soul the most in Boulder County between Lucky's Cafe and Bakehouse, Ash'Kara and The Mercantile Cafe. I feel like we are writing an album together but really we are just writing a menu and performing it live.

My part tonight is pretty petit, and yet somehow I am still a nervous about making the perfect green pesto for the pizza. Starling Farms contributed some arugula, and Anne Cure some more arugula and green garlic to which I'll add some toasted salted sunflower seeds, EVOO and something else to make a cozy green bed for the chicken shawarma to cuddled up on atop the sourdough pizza.

We still have a few tickets left, and you should come. Snag them HERE

I've been listening to more Sturtz on YouTube and love these guys so much. We bumped into them after a show last week in Lyons and got to play a few songs late night and soak up their gorgeous harmonies and it was amazing. This show will be special. Also don't ruin the surprise, but it is Jim the banjo player's birthday tonight too! Food at 6, show at 7:30. You'll see my brick oven pizza trailer out front.

Anybunny going to Telluride? We'll be packing up the truck and rolling down Wednesday night. See you in the creek, waterfall or beer tent soon. This is the most ridiculous line up of all time, and I can't wait to be back in T-Ride. I've got my winter jacket, whiskey and SPF 50 all ready to go for whatever comes.

We also have a few seats available for the Escoffier X Moxie collaboration pizza party this Sunday. Escoffier School of Culinary Arts staff and students are going to show off a bit with their culinary expertise hanging with the Moxie pizza crew. This is basically a good old fashioned Pizza Night with some very special guests and a ripping menu.
