Anne is brining fresh harvested lettuces, asian spicy greens, arugula and leaf cabbage with some purple snap peas for the salad.
Pizza Night on Sale & Louisville Open Air Clay Arts Studio
I hope everyone had a nice weekend of floating creeks, barbecuing, hiking, camping and all the other wonderful stuff celebrating July 4th. The scattered rain made for some stunning rainbows and the clouds over the mountains last night were a thing to behold in the setting sun.
Pizza Night This Friday
It's Pizza Night time again folks. Join us this Friday July 1'st in Louisville for good old fashioned pizza throw down in the back patio. We'll be doing an early (5 PM) and late seating (6:30 PM) as usual. Veg and GF options available, and kids under 12 eat free and don't need tickets.
Father's Day and Pizza Night is Back!
Andy is making the trek to Telluride for the Bluegrass Festival, so I (Laura) am filling in to update everyone with the latest! Apologies in advance for not quite being the wordsmith that he is.
Tin Snips, Bailing Wire & Persistence
What an amazing little night we had at E-Town on Thursday. Sturtz set the stage with some of the sweetest harmonies, and the powerhouse of love from our chef crew of Daniel Ascher, Rainbow Shultz, Maurizio Negrini and Jen Bush was silly. We are plotting another event in about a month with E-Town. Stay tuned.
The Birth of New Creatures
We hope to see some of you tonight at E-Town! I'm pretty pumped to hang out with the chef supergroup that is Daniel Ascher, Jen Bush and Rainbow Shultz. Honestly these guys make the food that soothes my soul the most in Boulder County between Lucky's Cafe and Bakehouse, Ash'Kara and The Mercantile Cafe. I feel like we are writing an album together but really we are just writing a menu and performing it live.
eTown & WWKIPD
It seems like this summer done went and took off like a bottle rocket and it 'aint looking like it's gonna slow down. Maybe we are just making up for lost time?
Here's what's on this week's agenda.
Craft Faire & Escoffier Pizza Party
We've got our favorite makers coming out tomorrow for our Local Artisan Craft Faire tomorrow at Moxie Louisville. It going to a beautiful day to grab a capuccino and meet your local makers. That sounds bad, meet your makers, but you get the point. Leigh will be there again with her amazing hand blown glass.
Mucho Pride Y Musica
Happy first day of Pride Month! We support our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer community! Come out today and celebrate Pride Month with an amazing musical performance by some of the finest musicians I know.
Wanna Farm??
We had an epic old fashioned Moxie pizza night of ridiculousness on Friday. Thanks for coming down and enjoying a fine evening of pie, music and silliness with us. Trace & Alek poured some really tremendous libations and we slung some turbo nom nom pie....and then the real magic of pizza night happened when a gaggle of our favorite musicians posted up for a session that lasted until the wee hours of the morning and hit on more than a few 80's hair band tunes from the "W" legacy (Winger, Warrant & Whitesnake).

Pizza Party Friday in LSVL
It is time for a good old fashioned pizza party in Louisville. Trace Bundy is working on his cocktail menu, and I am figuring what our farmers have for our food menu and thinking about what sort of music we will pull together. The lilacs are still hanging on even after the snow pulled so hard on their little tender petals. Tara from Esoterra is making edible creations from lilacs that are coloring my dreams a pastel purple hue, and I am gonna try to see if she'll join the party.
Craft Faire Postponed
Due to the impending Cold Rain & Snow we are gonna push our Artisan Craft Faire back into a date sometime in June. Stay tuned. Let's say a little prayer for all of the fruit tree buds on the across the state. This late spring freeze is pretty standard issue for our state, but it sneaks up on us every time.
Fiddles & Faires & Ferments
We've got yinz guys lined up for a flour power triple whammy hat trick wang dang doodle of a weekend ahead. What's that you say? Greatness on the horizon? Can you see the light of a brand new morning? Everything's gonna be alright, it's gonna be okay.
So Much Greatness Ahead
So much to say, so much going on. Spring sprang like asparagus bursting through the earth and it is already hot out. What the actual F? Just when you thought winter was taking too long, summer comes along and kicks you in the pants with it's furnace blast and you long for cooler times like that dog with its jowl sprawled out on the cool smooth cement at the bottom of the basement stairwell.

E-Town Community Cafe Thursday
The word community continues to become more relevant and resonant to me each day. Sort of like the word resilience. I'm not sure I always knew exactly what that word meant until lately. Now I do.
Nobo Birthday Bonanza
On Saturday April 9th we celebrate our second trip around the sun at our little flour mill and retail shop in Boulder. Will we have live music care of our friends Will & Laura Scherer and more. There will be free pizza from our wood fired oven made with wheat we grew with Speedwell Farms just down the road.
An Evening at The Opera
First off, we have pre-orders open for Hot Cross Buns. These little seasonal gems inspired by our pal Jim Williams from Back Door Bread in Vermont are like those little purple crocuses that pop up in early spring to remind us that we are turning the corner into warmer days ahead. Pre-order yours now through Sunday online Available at all locations by selecting "Order Online" and your preferred location.
